At WELL Health, our unwavering commitment to positively impacting the communities we serve shines brightly through our recent initiatives. The 2023 Holiday Season Donation Drive, led by our dedicated People & Culture (P&C) team and supported wholeheartedly by WELL employees, was a heartwarming testament to our collective spirit of generosity and community engagement.
From December 7 to January 5, WELL employees came together with a shared purpose: to make a meaningful difference by supporting noble causes. The P&C team spearheaded this effort with a commitment from the company to match every dollar, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution.
The result? A remarkable $8,330 was contributed by our incredible team members, which we wholeheartedly matched. WELL also donated another $11,000, resulting in a total donation of $27,660. This achievement resonates perfectly with WELL Health’s core values and mission to give back to our communities.
CityReach Care Society
One of the primary beneficiaries is the CityReach Care Society, which received a substantial contribution of $20,000. This support will help CityReach expand its Hope Business into Surrey, B.C., in 2024, bringing lasting and positive transformation to vulnerable individuals, children, and families across Greater Vancouver. It will provide crucial resources and vital support, ultimately improving their quality of life.
Mission Possible’s Impact Sponsorship
We also continue supporting Mission Possible’s Impact Sponsor program, committing $5,000 to this cause, which we proudly sponsored in 2023. This sponsorship empowers individuals facing significant challenges such as homelessness, poverty, substance use, and other barriers to success by helping them participate in the Employment Readiness Program.

Our dedication extends to the Daily Bread Food Bank, a prominent organization in Toronto, to which we are donating $2,660 to support their vital services. Daily Bread Food Bank addresses immediate needs and works towards sustainable solutions to combat poverty and hunger in the city, making it an indispensable pillar in our ongoing efforts to uplift our communities.
